Legendary music producer Quincy Jones. who died in Los Angeles on Nov. 3, had been diagnosed with pancreatic years before his death at 91 years old.

Quincy Jones ' death certificate reveals that the iconic musician, composer and producer died due to pancreatic cancer. According to CNN, there were no other contributing factors listed on the certificate from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, but it did note that he had been living with cancer for several years.
