The No. 1-ranked Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team is set to face Oakland on Saturday night at Allen Fieldhouse. KU defeated Michigan State on Tuesday, while the Golden Grizzlies lost to Illinois on Wednesday.

Oakland hasn’t had an excellent start to the year after beginning their season with matchups against Illinois and Boise State, and it won’t get any easier when they visit Allen Fieldhouse to take on Kansas.

Kansas honored Bill Self as the program’s all-time winningest coach with a banner unveiling, and the No. 1 Jayhawks raced out to a 22-point halftime lead en route to a 78-57 win against Oakland on Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse.

The Jayhawks returned home after their win in the Champions Classic game against Michigan State and take care of business against the Golden Grizzlies, 78-57.
