Sir Keir Starmer will hail a “path of change” with Labour governments in Wales and Westminster as he gives his first address to the Welsh Labour conference as Prime Minister.

The RMT said the industrial action will affect infrastructure repairs and maintenance on the Elizabeth Line rather than hit services.

Previously that distinction went to Ronald Ziegler, who was 29 when he took the position in 1969 in Richard Nixon’s administration.
